This is a global meditation I participate in annually. For this year’s World Invocation Day, I will be reciting The Great Invocation with a group of light workers in Hong Kong under the loving guidance of Lord or Buddha Maitreya – the spiritual host for our full moon workshop ‘Be the Joyous Expression of Your Soul‘. Connect with us through this united prayer “in the affirmation of the oneness of humanity, the livingness of our relationship to God and the responsibility of humanity for the working out of the divine Plan on Earth”.

More information on World Invocation Day is available at Lucis Trust website (excerpts produced below).

A Day for Universal Prayer, Invocation and Meditation

INVOCATION
DAY

World Invocation Day has been observed since 1952.  The Great Invocation is used to invoke spiritual energies of Light, Love and Purpose.

God’s purpose for humanity, the divine Plan, works out as human beings respond, organically and often unconsciously, to these higher energies.

Please use the Great Invocation on World Invocation Day, and every day, with dedication and mindfulness. You will be contributing to the One Work of building right relations.

* THE GREAT INVOCATION *

From the point of Light
within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth
 into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love
within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth
into the hearts of men.
May Christ  return to Earth.

From the centre where
the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide
the little wills of men –
The purpose which
the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which
we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love
and Light work out
And may it seal the door
where evil dwells.

Let Light and Love and Power
restore the Plan on Earth.

May the full moon & lunar eclipse of May 25 (which coincides with Vesak celebration in Singapore) illuminates the human mind with the wisdom and compassion of Lord Buddha. Blessings, Amara Tia Ann.
